A. Apply Sunny Cream SPF 60 Body Lotion liberally and evenly 20 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply every 2 hours or more often when sweating, swimming or towel drying.

A. Yes! Sunny is a dermatologist approved sunscreen and has been formulated with your skin in mind to be gentle and safe to use on sensitive skin. However, if you’re ever unsure if you can use a product, it’s best to consult with your doctor or dermatologist.

Q. Is Sunny Cream SPF 60 Body Lotion water resistant?
A. Our Sunny Cream SPF 60 Body Lotion provides up to 80 minutes water resistant protection. We recommend reapplying at least every two hours, or more often after swimming, sweating, exercising or towel drying.

Q.Should I wear sunscreen every day?
A. Yes! We strongly encourage wearing sunscreen daily because even during cooler months or on cloudy days, UV rays can still reach your skin. Daily suncare is easy to include in your routine. Apply sunscreen as the final step in your morning skincare routine and be sure to reapply throughout the day to ensure your skin remains healthy and protected.

Q. What does SPF 60 mean?
A. SPF or ‘Sun Protection Factor’ is a rating that refers to the amount of UV protection the product is providing compared to unprotected skin. For example, broad spectrum sunscreens with SPF 60 block more than 98.3% of UV, whereas an SPF 30 blocks 96.7% of UV. While SPF 30 is certainly better than no SPF at all, the higher SPF you wear, the more protected you are. Direct sun exposure can change the texture and elasticity in your skin, which can contribute to premature skin aging like wrinkles.

A. Broad spectrum sunscreen refers to sunscreen that helps protect your skin from both UVA and UVB rays.

Q. What are UVA and UVB rays?
A. Ultraviolet A (UVA) rays are present year-round and can penetrate the middle layer of the skin, contributing to skin aging and wrinkles. Ultraviolet B (UVB) rays are more prevalent in sunny conditions and are associated with sunburn and redness. While exposure to UV rays can help support Vitamin D production, it’s important to wear sunscreen every day to help protect your skin from sun damage.

Product claims such as SPF, broad spectrum and water resistance are supported by appropriate testing. Bondi Sands products are also PETA approved and are not tested on animals at any stage of development.
